Jot is a program that lets designers, artists and animators directly annotate 3D computer graphics models (and animation) for stylized (NPR) rendering.
It was first developed as a proprietary program for research purpose (see http://jot.cs.princeton.edu/), then freed as GPLv3 (and over) in 2007 (see http://code.google.com/p/jot-lib/).
This project is an attempt to revive the project by setting up an active repository for developers to be able to contribute, and with initial priority the port to Linux, and stabilization of the code.
