Videoporama est un logiciel dédié à la création de diaporama d'images exportés en vidéo. Il est distribué suivant la licence GPL V2 ou supérieure, ceci sans aucune garanties. Les options suivantes sont disponibles :

* Vidéo au format 4:3 ou 16:9. * Avec ou sans transitions entre les photos. * Possibilité de définir le type de transition image par image. * ajout d'une bande son au montage (wav, ogg ou mp3) * sortie en PAL (720x576), NTSC (720x480), SECAM (720x576), Web (384x288), HD 720 (1280x720) ou HD 1080 (1920x1080) * Fichiers au format Raw dv (.dv), AVI (codec dv), MPEG (VCD, SVCD et DVD), FLV (vidéo Flash) et H264 (MPEG4 part 10 AVC). * ajout d'une image de fond (pour les images orientées en portrait) ou ajout d'une couleur de fond. (Remarque : l'image doit avoir la même géométrie que les images avec éventuellement des déformations).

Ce projet vient du constat qu'une (trop) grande partie de la population n'est plus en mesure de contrôler les informations qui la concerne et même de contrôler ses idées. Un anéantissement total de la vie privée et du libre arbitre de chacun dû à un abandon total à l'égard de certains réseaux sociaux ou services en ligne qui se servent de nous pour leur profit personnel. Le but de ce projet est d'informer la population le plus simplement, objectivement et clairement possible.

Ce projet est sous la forme d'un site web. à l'heure actuelle il est hébergé via le gitlab de framagit et, sachant que ce service fermera prochainement, nous profitons du fait qu'il n'est pas encore tout à fait lancé (pour le moment aucun référencement n'a été effectué) pour le migrer sur une plateforme stable (d'où notre choix pour tuxfamily de par sa longévité).
